SpeechPilot

Questions chatters ask

Short and honest – the way they come up in the groups.

What is SpeechPilot – and what is it not?

SpeechPilot is a Chrome extension for people who write in chats all day: chat moderators, community chatters, fan-page chatters. You talk, the text lands in the input field where your cursor is. Plus a sidebar next to the chat that fills profile fields and standard replies with one click. It is not an AI writing tool, not a bot, and not the documentation tool for speech-language pathologists that shares a similar name.

Does SpeechPilot work on Modpanel, Cloudworkers, Fanvue or my chat panel?

SpeechPilot works in Chrome on any website with a normal input field – Modpanel, agency panels, OnlyFans, Fanvue, Telegram Web, WhatsApp Web. The extension types into the field like a keyboard; the platform doesn't need to support anything. You set up a profile with texts and target fields per website.

Is dictation allowed by my agency?

Dictation replaces your keyboard, nothing more – practically no agency has an issue with that. Text snippets are a different story: some platforms treat inserting prepared text as copy-and-paste and don't like it. That's why macros and the sidebar can be switched on and off separately. When in doubt, read your agency's rules instead of guessing.

Can I add emojis by voice?

Yes. Say “grin”, “wink” or “laugh” and the matching emoji lands in the text – including your own words for your own emojis. One caveat: a few chat platforms only accept smileys from their own picker, and a typed emoji may not go through there. That's the platform, not the extension.

What does SpeechPilot cost? Is there a subscription?

No subscription, no account. Basic (dictation) is free. Standard is a one-time €24 (custom replacements, emoji words), Complete a one-time €49 (adds macros and the profile sidebar). For the first 14 days after installation Complete is unlocked for free – no key, no sign-up, no card. One key covers 3 devices.

How fast is recognition – and which languages?

Recognition is done by Chrome with Google's speech engine, so it's as fast as voice typing in Google Docs. It recognises 69 languages in 119 regional variants. Spoken punctuation (“period”, “question mark”) currently exists for English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian and Filipino. In raw mode your slang stays exactly as you said it – no auto-correction.

Does the website or SpeechPilot read my chats?

No. Recognition runs in a sandboxed part of the extension, not inside the page. The page only receives the text you type into its field. SpeechPilot stores neither audio nor recognized text and needs no account.

Why does the microphone cut out or nothing happens?

Usually a second dictation extension is active (Voice In, Speech Recognition Anywhere, Google Docs voice typing). Chrome allows only one recognition per browser at a time – switch the other one off. Second classic: microphone level in Windows too high; around 30 % works best.

How is SpeechPilot different from NTB Voice, Yaptxt or Voice In?

Nobody else has the profile sidebar: job, hobby, name and standard replies into the right field with one click. And ownership: SpeechPilot belongs to you, not the agency – pay once, keep it at every agency. Details are on the comparison page.

How do I get help?

The manual on this site (also as PDF), or email contact@speechpilot.vip. The reply comes from the developer, who chats himself.

Try it instead of reading: Basic is free, and so is Complete for the first 14 days.
